The New Zealand Merpod
Welcome to the New Zealand Merpod — a magical community of New Zealand’s professional and performing mermaids, making their homes in mermaid grottos throughout Aotearoa.
From shimmering shores to hidden coves, our mermaids love venturing from their grottos to meet humans, entertain young and old, and inspire the next generation of aspiring mermaids. Each member of the Merpod has her own personality, story and special mermaid talents, with years of experience bringing the magic of the underwater world to life.
Dive in, meet the mermaids of the New Zealand Merpod, discover where they live, and learn a little more about the wonderful characters you might encounter on your next mermaid adventure
Bring a Mermaid to Your Event
Turn your next celebration into a mermaid extravaganza by inviting one of New Zealand’s professional mermaids to join the fun! Our mermaids can swim, perform, pose for magical photos, tell tales from beneath the waves and, most importantly, make aspiring young mermaids believe that anything is possible. Mermaid appearances are perfect for birthday parties, but the Merpod also ventures ashore for festivals, community events, corporate functions, promotions, media appearances, television and other special occasions. Whatever you’re planning, invite a little mermaid magic along and create an event your guests won’t soon forget.
